Queens of the Baroque

Featuring Purcell's Suite from 'The Fairy Queen' and Handel's 'The Arrival of The Queen of Sheba', we can't think of a better Baroque night out this June!

'The Fairy Queen' combines enchanting music and spoken dialogue to re-imagine Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' creating a captivating world of fairies, mortals, and mystical transformations.

Often performed during wedding ceremonies, 'The Arrival of The Queen of Sheba' comes from Handel's Opera 'Solomon' capturing the excitement of a lavish state visit of an exotic foreign Queen.
