Phantasticus

Phantasticus
Enter the distinctive sound world of 17th-century Italy in music for violins and theorbo, including works by Castello, Fontana, Uccellini, Gabrieli and Marini. These early composers for the violin contrast Monteverdi-like vocal lines with dazzling displays of violin virtuosity, with constant flits of mood and character. By popular demand, Paula Chateauneuf and her theorbo are back!
