About
LEWES BAROQUEFEST 2025
We are so delighted to offer our sixth Lewes Baroquefest, from 17 to 19 July 2025. To bring live music to our wonderful town, which has such a strong vocal and instrumental tradition and plethora of international musicians, is a true pleasure and honour.
Our five concerts this year include a vocal recital by Rebecca Leggett (mezzo soprano) and Hugh Cutting (countertenor) with Daniel Murphy (lute); chamber recitals by Flutes and Frets: Beth Stone (flutes) and Daniel Murphy (lute); Piers Adams (recorder) and David Wright (harpsichord); Richard Tunnicliffe (solo cello); and our final concert, Handel's Dixit Dominus, J S Bach’s Double Violin Concerto and Magnificat, with the Baroque Collective Singers and The Baroque Collective directed by John Hancorn.
