Stile Antico stretches the canvas of the New World with repertoire that was cherished in Mexican cathedral libraries – from simple hymns, villancicos in Nahuatl and South American counterpoint, to Spanish polyphony by standard bearers Francisco Guerrero and Alonso Lobo.
