Continuo Connect — Profile // The London Crumhorn Consort

The London Crumhorn Consort was formed in 2021 to mark International Crumhorn Day on 3rd October that year. To mark this annual event, we created a Facebook page which drew contributions from enthusiasts at all levels of achievement. We continued with an informal performance in Birmingham in October 2022, and are now devising a series of events to lead up to our third ICD commemoration in October 2023. This will include new commissions, collaboration with other ensembles and lectures by makers and scholars. All performers are experienced professionals in the fields of early, folk and contemporary music.
