Sophie is a freelance musician specialising in early woodwind with a particular passion for early bagpipes. Sophie tours mainly with her duo GreenMatthews with a range of historically inspired shows drawing on repertoire from the Middle Ages to the Baroque.
Sophie is also recognised as a superb interpreter of narrative song with a clear, pure and unaffected soprano voice.
Sophie is also an accredited lecturer for the Arts Society, primarily focusing on Music In Art.
