The Festival was created in 1997 to introduce audiences to the immense wealth of music associated with Advent, Christmas and Epiphany, from the Medieval to the Baroque, intertwined with the sagas, stories and tales of the north.

About
The York Early Music Christmas Festival was created in 1997 to introduce audiences to the extraordinary wealth of music associated with Advent, Christmas and Epiphany, from the Medieval to the Baroque, intertwined with the sagas, stories and tales of the north.
This year's festival runs from Friday 4 - Sunday 13 December, with guest artists including BBC New Generation Baroque Ensemble Bellot Ensemble, Spiritato, Ceruleo, Ruby Hughes & Jonas Nordberg, Echo Vocal Ensemble and Spanish medievalists Artesonado.
Tickets will go on sale to NCEM Patrons on Monday 10 August, and on general sale Wednesday 12 August.
