About

Based in Southwest London, Loki Music is an 'umbrella' term for collaborative concerts and performances of Early Music involving professional musicians, teachers, historic venues, actors, and festivals. Directed by William Summers, it organises regular concerts in local venues and in East Anglia, as well as performances elsewhere.

Regular venues include:

Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare in Hampton
St Mary's Church, Hampton
Marble Hill House in Twickenham
The Lovekyn Chapel in Kingston
Walpole Old Chapel in East Suffolk

Everyone is welcome to come along to Loki Music concerts—regardless of their age, health, or knowledge about the program—as long as they are willing and able to listen to the performance and allow others to do so.

Performers introduce their music and are usually available for questions, and plenty of information about the venues is available too. Please contact Loki Music with any questions about specific performances or ideas for music you would like to hear in the future. We use period instruments—constructed according to historical methods—using gut strings, shorter bows, harpsichords rather than pianos, and wooden flutes, for example.
