Lake District Music Summer Festival

Welcome to the 41st Lake District Music Summer Festival. Building on the success of last year's 40th anniversary celebrations, the 2026 programme features exceptional artists and music spanning centuries and cultures. Committed to serving audiences across the county, this summer we make our way further north and return to Keswick after several years.

A central focus of this programme is our celebration of Czech music, highlighted by performances from distinguished Czech artists, along with family and participatory events, offering opportunities for audiences and musicians of all ages.

Join us for a memorable musical journey from Bach, performed by the incomparable Rachel Podger, to our operatic finale featuring Mascagni's powerful Cavalleria Rusticana brought to life by a superb cast.
