JdP Concert Series

This is a special time for the JdP Music Building. September 2025 is its 30th anniversary; in the coming season we are slowly building up to to this point through a series of concerts focussing on the cello, which started with Florian Berner’s baroque recital in September 2024.

A special series of ten early music concerts are also taking place on Tuesdays in the JdP’s sister venue, St Giles' Chapel. The chapel’s intimate space, beautiful acoustic and quiet setting enable us to profile early music repertoire for the most magical of instruments – the clavichord, the lute, the viola da gamba, the harpsichord, the guitar – and to work closely with some of the UK’s most exciting period practice performers including Sergio Bucheli, Julian Perkins, Intesa and Sirinu.
