About

Join us for the 4th edition of the “Harpsichord en fête” festival!

“Harpsichord en fête” is a week-long celebration of the harpsichord and baroque music in Scotland. You will have the opportunity to listen to harpsichordists accompanied by other musical instruments. Local and European musicians will be performing for this 4th edition, including: John Kitchen, Aaron McGregor, Claude Meneux, Alison McGillivray, Morag Johnston, Conor Gricmanis, Paul Kowal, Diego Ares, Jan Waterfield and László Rózsa.

“I have been delighted to have been associated with the “Harpsichord en fête” concerts which the Institut français d’Ecosse has organised in recent years. These have afforded valuable concert opportunities for younger performers, as well as offering concerts to distinguished established musicians. In addition, the series has featured harpsichords from the priceless collection of early keyboards at the University’s St Cecilia’s Hall. It’s a brilliant enterprise!”  - John Kitchen
