About
Bach at New College is an intimate and inspiring concert series held at The New Space, a brand-new chamber music hall located in the heart of Oxford. Taking place on selected Monday evenings during term time, the hour-long concerts offer a rewarding early-evening escape into exceptional music-making.
The series celebrates the music of Johann Sebastian Bach as well as related composers, and previous artists include Andrew Arthur, who performed Bach’s complete French Suites over two evenings on the hall’s superb Donzelague-style harpsichord. With outstanding performers, thoughtful programming, and a beautiful new venue, Bach at New College provides a rare opportunity to experience great music up close and a distinctive and memorable concert experience.
