Walsingham - a recital of Elizabethan lute music

Walsingham - a recital of Elizabethan lute music

One of Australia’s very finest lute players, Rosemary Hodgson, on a rare visit to England, plays Elizabethan lute music, by John Dowland, John Johnson, Francis Cutting, Gregory Huwitt, Anthony Holborne, and others woven into an intricately constructed musical journey exploring themes of mysticism and pilgrimage.

The concert is preceded by free talks and music, at the quarterly meeting of the Lute Society, from 11am - all welcome.
