Vache Baroque at IF Opera

Baroque Drinking Songs
Turn back the clock to Baroque-era Europe and enjoy a soul-warming tipple of musical entertainment from the award-winning Vache Baroque.

From gods to lowly humans, royalty to revellers, this highly interactive and theatrical performance brings together cellar-inspired drinking songs, jigs, shanties and singalongs by Baroque masters including Purcell, Handel, Cozzolani and Jenkins.

Join Thomas Guthrie (Lucia di Lammermoor, 2024) and the minstrels of the Vache Baroque band for a “demandingly immersive” experience, populated by gods and sailors, where audience participation is warmly encouraged and raucous ribaldry very much part of the fun!
