Vache Baroque

We are Vache Baroque, a group of musicians intent on connecting a younger and more diverse range of people to the power of high-quality Baroque-era music and drama.

From fully-staged operas to children’s shows and youth residencies, we create dynamic, interactive, and impactful experiences for all to enjoy. We give special focus to offering young and disadvantaged people opportunities to be creative alongside leading professionals.

We invite people from all parts of our society to be collaborators on a journey to tell the stories of our time through the medium of live music performance.

Since our launch in September 2020, we have produced 3 critically-acclaimed operas (“ingenious stagecraft and expert musicianship” ★★★★ The Stage, “musically rewarding evening” Sunday Times, “Newcomer of the year” Opera Now 2022), 4 multi-disciplinary concert projects (London/The Vache, BBC R3 broadcast), 1 international tour, 45 in-school workshops, 2 young artist programmes for emerging singers, and 13 community sessions in collaboration with Wycombe Refugee Partnership and Wycombe Arts Centre.
