Utopia Ensemble
In Terra Aliena
Inspired by Thomas More's Utopia, written in Antwerp, In Terra Aliena explores humanity's enduring search for an ideal home. The award-winning Utopia Ensemble weaves Franco-Flemish 16th-century polyphony by Lassus, Isaac and Clemens with specially commissioned texts by acclaimed philosopher and historian Philipp Blom, spoken by the author himself. Together, music and words create a powerful meditation on belonging, hope and the dream of a better world.
