Following on from cycling the length and breadth of the UK on a concert tour title 'Good Again?' Viola da gamba player Sarah Small is en route to join Exeter-based musician Emma Welton to present:

A Response:
A programme for violin and viola da gamba responding to the changing landscapes of the British Isles, exploring the connections between music, the natural environment and how we travel.


Featuring:
Forqueray's La Girouette (weathervane)
Hume's A Question and An Answer
Newly self-composed A Response: capturing the experience of the Good Again? Tour
And in celebration of her violin’s 100 year birthday, Emma will share her work-in-progress composition following a week’s immersive research in the New Forest, surrounded by the trees from which the violin was made.
