Chorale Preludes from Bach to Böhm

Hidden in Plain Sight

continuo logoSupported by a grant from Continuo Foundation

As one of the foremost compositional structures of the Lutheran tradition, the chorale prelude was a wellspring for creativity and imagination.

Just as chorales were woven into the fabric of the service and of municipal life, so these eternal melodies are embroidered, interlaced and threaded into rich and abundant works that create delightful and provoking games of musical hide-and-seek. Join Liturina to experience these innovative masterpieces in a new light, transformed into colourful chamber works performed on period instruments.
