Fretwork joins the Cotswolds-based chamber choir Cantores for the second time since the success of their collaboration at Christmas 2023, to celebrate the life and work of the great Orlando Gibbons, who died in June 1625.
The programme includes the Magnificat & Nunc Dimittis (Second Service), Behold thou hast made my days, O Lord, in thy wrath, This is the record of John, See, see the word is incarnate, and Fretwork play three Gibbons In Nomine settings and two Lupo Fantasias.
