A guzheng and harpsichord duo version of programme exploring music which spanned Asia and Western Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries, including music from Ming and Qing Dynasty manuscripts, Giovanni Gabrieli, Loum Kiqua and Jean-Philippe Rameau, and transcriptions by Jean Jospeh Marie Amiot and Karl Kambra of Chinese melodies and William Hamilton Byrd of 'Hindustani Airs'.
