William Byrd’s flawless harmonies will echo through the Lincoln Cathedral Chapter House on Saturday 1st July as Arculo joins with the Choral Scholars of the Cathedral Choir. From consort songs to a movement of his famous Mass for four Voices, this concert will showcase the wide variety of Byrd’s musical output. The concert will also include a few pieces by Byrd’s contemporaries, friends and colleagues, including a song by RIchard Nicholson, a few anonymous songs, and Tallis’ beautiful In Nomine.
