Yair Avidor

The Intimate Bach

The Intimate Bach
Take a peek into the world of JS Bach's private musical companion: the clavichord. This is a very discreet species of keyboard on which Baroque organists practised at home, and it has some unusual features, not least the ability to do keyboard vibrato. In this recital, it is joined by the Baroque lute, another low-volume instrument most at home in intimate situations.

Harpsichordist Dan Tidhar will be joined by lute specialist Yair Avidor to present a quiet recital of works by JS Bach, CPE Bach and Leopold Weiss.

Performers:
Dan Tidhar clavichord
Yair Avidor lute
