On Presence

New and Old music for historical trombone

On Presence
The Royal Sackbut Collective makes its Charlton House debut performance offering a programme called ‘On Presence’.

Curated by TRSC member Jess Bull Anderson, it features an innovative combination of landmarks of the Renaissance and Early Baroque repertoire and pieces by contemporary composers such as Emily Hall or Evelyn Axton. The main narrative line of the programme follows this short poem written by Jess herself:

‘Into stillness, we find presence.
Always held within, admire the beauty of
being, one
found, together’
