A Sackbut Farewell

Everyone at The Royal Sackbut Collective is very sad to learn that Buchen Zhao, one of the founders and most-esteemed members of the ensemble, is leaving the UK soon and returning to his hometown in China.

As a way of honouring him and all the work that he has put into the creation of the group, he has curated a programme consisting of some of the ensemble's favourite pieces and some new repertoire that they have learnt for this occasion. The performance promises to include many emotional moments and some musical surprises, featuring Buchen as a soloist!

Bid farewell to Buchen and enjoy a lovely early-music afternoon in a venue renowned throughout the world of brass music, the Salvation Army's Regent Hall, in the heart of London's shopping district.
