The Royal Sackbut Collective

A morning with The Royal Sackbut Collective

with Mariana Rodrigues (soprano)

A morning with The Royal Sackbut Collective
The Royal Sackbut Collective, one of the most promising historical brass ensembles in the UK, make their first appearance at the Chiswick Brass Festival. This festival celebrates its second edition in 2026 and has quickly become one of the most eagerly awaited events by brass enthusiasts in London. TRSC will be the only historical brass ensemble to take part in the weekend-long festival, and they are presenting a programme that hopes to showcase everything that a sackbut is capable of achieving.

They will be performing as a sackbut quartet and will be accompanied on stage by the wonderful soprano Mariana Rodrigues. Their programme will span from music from the Bronze Age to an arrangement by Ralph Vaughan Williams of a beloved English folksong, including music by timeless classics such as Monteverdi and JS Bach and also lesser-known gems by Phillipe Verledot or Amante Franzoni. Hoping to offer something for everybody, TRSC invites you to attend a relaxing morning recital that will please Early Music aficionados and curious brass musicians.

Tickets for this concert come as a part of a single-day or weekend pass, featuring a range of concerts and masterclasses.
