In collaboration with Colla Voce Singers, The Hampstead Collective and The Players of The Hampstead Collective present Purcell's dramatic masterpiece Dido and Aeneas. Purcell's best-known drama tells the story of Dido, Queen of Carthage, and her ill-fated romance with the Trojan prince, Aeneas. With a first half of choral gems by Purcell.
