This programme will showcase Palestrina’s most celebrated motets, and give an overview of other composers - de Victoria, Lassus, Anerio - who brought his legacy forward, and contributed to the development of the Scuola Romana.

This year marks the 500th anniversary of Palestrina’s birth, and we are going to celebrate his wonderful music and legacy with two choirs performing some of the most famous pieces of Renaissance vocal music together.
