Tenebrae

Tenebrae by Candlelight

Tenebrae by Candlelight

Tenebrae returns to the historic venue of St Bartholomew-the-Great with a sequence of choral masterpieces. Spanning over 400 years, the programme includes music by Renaissance masters Byrd and Gibbons, much-loved choral favourites by Harris and Holst, and works by some of today's most exciting composers. Founded in 1123, this stunning church is the perfect setting for a candlelit concert on a summer's evening.

Any purchase of a Premium Ticket will include an invitation to a post-concert drinks reception, where guests will hear a short performance by Tenebrae's six Associate Artists. Tenebrae members at the Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, as well as members of the Conductor's Circle, are also warmly invited to join the reception regardless of ticket band purchased. For more information about how to join our membership programme, please click here: https://www.tenebrae-choir.com/support. Please note the post-concert event is an informal drinks reception and food will not be provided, so you may wish to arrange dinner before the concert.
