First published in 1738, the Paris Quartets in six suites were written and premiered at the public Concert Spirituel series while Telemann was enjoying an eight-month stay in the French capital. Marches Baroque Ensemble, playing on period instruments, will present a programme of music focusing on this famous collection of music for flute, violin, viola da gamba and continuo (cello and harpsichord).
