Six Concertos in Seven Parts

The Redoubtable Reverend Richard Mudge
Who is that, we hear you cry!

The Six Concertos in 7 parts by Richard Mudge (1718-1763) have been unjustly forgotten, for his music ranks with that of his friend (through Charles Jennens), George Frideric Handel, and arguably more than that of John Stanley. One of the concertos is for organ solo and will feature Kenardington's magnificent 1805 Thomas Elliot organ.

Come and hear these wonderful concertos in the hands of Julian Perkins, ''The Indiana Jones of early music'', and Sounds Baroque, ''With Julian Perkins at the helm, it is plain sailing.'' Join us for an evening of unique musick-making!
