In Praise of St Cecilia
This April Sestina Music, directed by Mark Chambers, presents "In Praise of St. Cecilia," an evening of cultural enrichment celebrating the patron saint of music. This unique celebration promises a transformative experience.

The ensemble of 12 talented singers, accompanied by baroque instruments, renowned for excellence through authenticity, will immerse audiences in the musical landscapes of 17th century England & France through works by Purcell and Charpentier.

“Lift up your voices” with Sestina Music at their “Sing with Sestina” choral workshops preceding each event at 4pm, and explore Henry Purcell’s 'Welcome to all the pleasures’ along with the ensemble and band!

Join Sestina Music in a consort of voices whilst instruments play this April for an atmospheric evening, bridging the past and present in celebration of music.

There will be an additional performance on April 5th at Thomastown Concert Hall, Kilkenny at 8:00 pm.
