Sarah Small and Kim Porter present Nothing Gold Can Stay: a programme for viol and voice reflecting on a journey around the British Isles by bicycle.
Featured works include Lillie Harris’ Good Again? and Kim Porter’s Nothing Gold Can Stay, both specially commissioned* for the tour, alongside diminutions on Dowland’s Flow my tears, Sainte-Colombe’s Fantasie en rondeau, interwoven with Tennyson’s poem The Oak, Forqueray’s La Girouette, and Campion’s Never Weather-beaten Sail.
This performance will last approximately 50 minutes.
