Rose Opera

Love, Fate and Fire

Favourite arias from Shakespeare's operatic legacy

Tamara Ravenhill (soprano), Deborah Holborn (mezzo), Stephen Cviic (tenor), Richard Milnes (tenor), Adam Brown (baritone), Andrew Robinson (piano)

Love, Fate and Fire
Tamara Ravenhill is a lyrico spinto soprano who studied at the Juilliard in New York. She holds a Diploma in Opera Performance from Birkbeck College, having majored in violin in her native Ukraine. In 2018 she co-founded Rose Opera, where she has produced works by Mozart, Verdi, Strauss and Britten.

After studies at Edinburgh and at Trinity Laban, Deborah Holborn launched her career as an operatic mezzo soprano. Her singing displays a range of vocal colours both in fully staged and concert performances.

Stephen Cviic is an accomplished performer, from Gilbert and Sullivan to classical opera. His dramatic tenor voice combines with a charismatic stage presence, and he relishes bringing wit and sparkle into performance.

With a rich dramatic tenor voice, Richard Milnes performed with Tamara Ravenhill in a previous concert in Holy Trinity Church. He has sung in numerous oratorios as well as operas in Britain and Germany.

Adam Brown recently completed his master's in Vocal Studies (with distinction) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, having earlier studied musicology at Durham University. He is an operatic baritone, praised for clear diction, strong acting skills and beauty of tone.

A natural teacher, Andrew Robinson is now a vocal repertoire coach and repertoire professor at the Royal College of Music. He has collaborated with singers at concerts throughout the UK and Europe, North America and further afield.
