Combining with the expert solo voices of the Sarum Consort, this programme highlights a wide variety of music by Orlando Gibbons, 400 years since his death. It will include verse anthems, some newly arranged for viol consort, secular songs 'apt for Viols and Voyces', including the Cries of London, together with unaccompanied anthems and instrumental pieces ranging from a cheeky duet for two treble viols to sonorous five-part In nomines.
