Renaissance: the golden age of English choral music

Ex Cathedra Consort - Jeffrey Skidmore, conductor
Renaissance: the golden age of English choral music

We all remember our first love! For Jeffrey Skidmore and the founding members of Ex Cathedra it was the Renaissance, a golden age of English choral music. We are excited to return to St Martin-in-the-Fields in London - and to our roots - with this programme of powerfully emotional music from Byrd, Tallis, Sheppard, Tomkins, and Gibbons, part of our celebrations of Byrd’s 400th anniversary.
