A concert of music for the International Bach Competition in Leipzig

Bach and Rust
Phoebe Rousochatzaki is an outstanding young violinist from Athens, Greece. Having completed her Master Degree in violin with Joe Puglia at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where she also studied Baroque Violin with Walter Reiter, Phoebe moved to London to continue her studies with David Takeno. She is a member of the Tamesis Quartet, winners of the Wigmore Hall Cavatina competition in 2025, and performed with them twice for Folkestone Early Music. Having passed through the preliminary round of the International Bach Competition, Leipzig, Phoebe returns to Folkestone to perform a selection of music for the next rounds, playing music by Bach, Biber and Rust. Phoebe will play on a 'modern' violin with a baroque bow, as permitted by the competition.
