Passamezzo
Connections
Early Music and traditional song from three faiths

In today's unsettled world, it feels important to look at what we have in common rather than what divides us. In this concert, Passamezzo joins with outstanding singers from Jewish and Moroccan Sufi traditions to create an intercultural conversation.
The programme mixes 17th-century sacred music from all three faiths (including Salamone Rossi, Claude Goudimel, Thomas Campion and Ali Ufki) with Moroccan Sufi music, Taizé chants and popular Hebrew songs.
Performers:
Ahmed Abdelhak Elkaab singer
Eleanor Cramer soprano
Netta Chachamu alto
Matthew Pochin tenor
Christian Goursaud bass
Sam Brown lute, oud
Harry Buckoke bass viol
