Palisander
Cries of London

'Cries of London' follows the voices of Londoners throughout history - those who reserved the city's sounds, notating its church bells, market cries, songs and Frost Fairs on the frozen Thames. Handel, Purcell and Holst feature (all once London residents), alongside the more mysterious 'Mrs Philharmonica' (whose identity is still unknown) and there is even an offering from an English Queen!
