Vivaldi's Extravaganzas
Antonio Vivaldi never made the trip across the English Channel, but his music did. Norwich Baroque explores the concertos which thrilled our Georgian ancestors and hear some of the music they inspired. There’ll be concertos from Vivaldi’s La Stravaganza Op. 4, specially prepared for British tastes in 1729, plus first modern performances, and live programme notes presented by BBC Radio 3’s Simon Heighes
