Nigel North
Nigel North plays Bach

The late autumn meeting of The Lute Society is themed around two great musicians, Bach and Kapsperger, as they welcome once again one of the leading virtuosos of our times, Nigel North. The afternoon will explore the music and life of Kapsperger, with a talk by Anne Marie Dragosits, his recent biographer, and mini-recitals by Christian Velasco, a winner of last year’s Overstrand lute-playing contest, and two rising stars, Kristiina Watt and soprano Angela Hicks.
The full day's activities begin at 11:00, with the concert at 16:30. Entry to the full day is free, except for the final concert (available in advance or on the day).
