Nathaniel Mander

Harpsichord Recital

Music from the French Golden Age

Harpsichord Recital
Harpsichordist Nathaniel Mander presents a vivid recital of music from the golden period of the French 18th century.

Under the influence of Francois Couperin, keyboard music was moulded into a language of such tender beauty and refinement; his compositions are deeply poetic and characterful. The recital interweaves these divine musical jewels with pieces by Balbastre, whose effervescent and bombastic music literally cries out as a final flourish of this glorious school.

  • date Tue, 26 May 2026
  • location Handbag Factory Art Gallery, London SE11
