Monteverdi's 'L'incoronazione di Poppea'

When Emperor Nero falls obsessively in love with the ambitious Poppea, their toxic romance becomes Rome’s ultimate power play. She’s ruthless, he’s unhinged, and together they’re unstoppable. Ashley Pearson's production will be as absorbing, engaging and provocative as her acclaimed 'Agrippina' (in its way a prequel to 'Poppea') for HGO in 2023.

Tickets for this production will be available from September, with performances on 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 November.
