Continuo Connect — Concert // Mary Bevan: The Bevan Family Consort; Sacred Choral Music

The Bevan Family Consort are a choir made up of 15 first cousins and siblings. They continue a family tradition of singing church music from their parents’ generation, who began the Bevan Family Choir in the 1970s. In this concert, favourite sacred choral music from Purcell, Tallis, Byrd, Palestrina through to Villette, Holst and Howells (and more) is interspersed with text written by different members of the family and performed by actor Rory Kinnear.
