Titled after the lost song in Aphra Behn’s ‘Abdelazer’, Love Armed! is an event exploring love and its various effects through music and poetry (sung and spoken). Featuring Miriam Nohl (viola da gamba) and Kristiina Watt (theorbo/soprano) will perform works by Christophe Ballard, Giulio Caccini, Isabella Leonarda, Marin Marais, Claudio Monteverdi, Barbara Strozzi with readings by Michael Elwyn.
