Continuo Connect — Concert // London Haydn Quartet: London Haydn Quartet at the Art Worker's Guild, Concert 2

Over the course of the 23/24 season the London Haydn Quartet will be presenting a series of concerts of music by Beethoven and Haydn at the Art Workers’ Guild in Bloomsbury, London. The series celebrates the completion of the group’s 15-year project to record the entire body of Haydn’s works for string quartet, a milestone achieved with the release in Spring ’23 of the final volume in the cycle (the quartets Op 77, Op 42 and the Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross). These four concerts present a selection of late quartets by Haydn alongside the first collection of those by Beethoven, the six quartets, Op 18.
