Linnet Baroque explores sacred music for voice and bass continuo at the end of the 17th and early 18th centuries and the relationship between the first cousins, James II of England & Louis XIV of France, alongside virtuosic music for the bass viol.

Music by Purcell, Clarke, Pelham Humphrey, Locke, Couperin, Marais, Forquerey and Saint-Colombe. A fantastic venue, right on the Thames, opposite Eel Pie Island!
