Lilium Convallium
Entremeses Españoles
Chamber music of the Spanish Baroque

Composers such as Joan Baptista Pla and his brother Josep, Jose Oliver Astorga, and Francisco José de Castro have largely been lost to history, but their music holds a definite place in the development of Baroque and early Classical styles in Spain (and, in Castro's case, Italy). The programme highlights the musical dialogue between Spain and Italy at the turn and well into the 18th century.
