Full Event Details
Leeds Baroque Choir and viol consort, directed by Peter Holman, continue with their regular summer residency, returning to the lovely church of St Andrew’s , Kildwick-in-Craven. This historic church still retains some of its seventeenth-century woodwork. In a programme reflecting the history of the church we bring together anthems, madrigals and consort music from the great age of English music, featuring works by Orlando Gibbons (d. 1625) and John Dowland (d. 1626).
