Charlston’s heavenly mezzo-soprano voice, Manson’s exquisite gamba and cello playing, and Bucheli’s delicate and sensitive lute playing promise to be perfectly matched with each other and with the music in their fascinating and very varied programme of composers all born before JS Bach (albeit Handel by only 7 weeks).
