Step back in time to Elizabethan England in this recital by viol consort Fretwork, lutenist Elizabeth Kenny, and Ian Bostridge, celebrating the 400th anniversary of lutenist John Dowland. One of the greatest musicians of his age, Dowland's timeless music is full of passion, and this recital features some of his most moving and iconic songs, including Flow my tears and In darkness let me dwell. Sit back and enjoy an afternoon of delicate beauty in the tranquil setting of Gloucester Cathedral.
